Artisan's participation in the FSC Chain Of Custody
scheme provides assurance that paper-based products
are manufactured from material sourced from forests
certified according to stringent environmental, social and
economical standards, controlled wood sources and
enables consumers to trace the paper from its roots.
As a partner in the FSC Chain Of Custody, Artisan are required to be able to demonstrate that our paper products are manufactured and supplied through a rigorous Chain Of Custody system.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is founded on inclusive and shared responsibility for setting high social, environmental and economic standards for forest management.
Through the Chain Of Custody the FSC ensure that the production of forest items complies with FSC's standards for inputs of FSC certified, controlled wood and FSC verified recycled materials.
Artisan must secure FSC certification to have Chain Of Custody and use the FSC logos.
